Dr. Lyle D. Bighley, born in Albert Lea, MN on November 8, 1936 to Delevan and Thelma (Thorson) Bighley. Lyle graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in Pharmacy in 1960, MS in Hospital Pharmacy from the University of Iowa in 1963, and a PhD in Physical Pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Iowa in 1966. Lyle worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry at Park Davis in Detroit, Michigan and at 3M in St. Paul, Minnesota. Dr. Bighley was on the faculty at the University of Iowa, College of Pharmacy for eight years.
