The Iowa Supreme Court is getting ready to hear arguments in Marion this month, over a cow that made its way onto I-80 back in 2019 and got hit by a semi. The plaintiff is appealing the court to decide whether the cow-owner was negligent and liable for the incident. However, according to a case briefing, the plaintiff hasn't shown any evidence of how the cow got out, or whether it was due to defective fencing or anything within the defendant's control.
